Endhiran - 3 Crores for a single song

An exhilarating opening song scene with Super Star Rajini is to be shot in a few days. A.R.Rehman has already composed the music. The song that features the dance of Rajini and Aiswarya is sung by A.R.Rehman and Madhusri.

Speaking about this, Madhusri said: “It is so exciting to find a place in the effort by cinema’s great people like Rahman, Rajini, Shankar and Aiswarya. My friends think that I am a very lucky girl. I am very proud for having sung for ‘Endhiran.”

A gigantic set for this song is being put up by Babu Cyril at Ramojirao Film City. About 1000 artists will be dancing along with Rajini and Aiswarya. The cost of this song alone is around Rs.3 crores.

Naan Kadavul audio released in Satyam Cinemas on the 1st Jan 2009. Stars in Kollywood- Vikram and Surya, the masters- Mani Ratnam and Balu Mahendra, Poet Laureate- Vaali, Music composer- Uttam Singh, Producers and Trade- Ramanarayanan, K.Muralidharan, Pyramid Swaminathan, Kalaipuli Sekharan and K.S Srinivasan were present at the function.

Mani Ratnam- ” There used to be the K.Balachander, then the Bharatiraja era, and today there is the Bala influence in Tamil cinema. I came for this function for Bala”

Vikram- “Bala is an institution by himself. I like the trailer it has the Bala stamp of quality. Arya is going to reach dizzy heights with this film.”

Surya- “The trailer shows that it has the Bala touch of class. Arya may have worked over two years on the project; definitely he will gain from this experience. A Bala film is an event by itself and need not have a Diwali or Pongal for its release.”

‘Kadarkarai’ Audio Release Function

Millio Pictures are producing a film titled KADARKARAI. The film’s music album was released by politician Thirumavalavan recently in Chennai.The album has the music of V. Kishore and the lyrics of Sengathirvannan and Mahesh. The film introduces a host of newcomers and is directed by Soman. The producer is Canada Millio.

‘Dindigul Sarathy’ music songs release

The audio of Karunaas’ maiden venture as hero titled Dindigul Sarathy will hit the market on Wednesday.

Interestingly, the movie is the remake of the Malayalam hit which was written, directed and acted by Srinivasan. To be marketed by Kalanidhi Maran’s Sun Pictures, the movie features ‘Nam Naadu’ Karthika opposite Karunaas. Dhina is scoring the music for the film.

Directed by Shiva Shanmugham, ‘the movie is about an average looking youth, who gets married to a good-looking woman and his travails thereafter has reportedly been narrated in a hilarious manner’.

The shooting for the movie is over. A peppy remix number featuring Karunaas, Grace Karunaas among others is the major highlight of the film.
