AADHAVAN is a typical K.S. Ravikumar entertainer. It has action, comedy, sentiment, and romance. The story revolves around SURIYA, a contract killer. His father Sayaji Shinde strikes a big deal with Rahul Dev and SURYA is assigned to kill a magistrate Late. Murali. But Suriya, often misses his target and the magistrate survives.
Suriya then works out another plan to kill the magistrate in his house, where he is enjoying his holidays with family members. But again he fails in his attempt. Meanwhile, Suriya meets an old lady SAROJA DEVI and her beautiful granddaughter NAYANTARA. VADIVELU is the domestic worker in their home.
How this family connected to the main knot of the movie? Could Suriya complete his mission? Watch the movie in theatres to find the answers.
Suriya, however, portrays the typical commercial masala hero. He is amazing in action sequences and delightful in comical roles as well. As usual Nayanthara’s glamour looks fresh. Evergreen heroine Saroja Devi is impressive. As usual Vadivelu proves to be a major asset of the film as he brings cheers whenever he appears on screen. Aadhavan scores in the technical department. Attempt to show Suriya as a 10 year-old-boy is amazing. Ra. Ganesh’s cinematography work is impressive and the picturisation of songs are spectacular.
