The evergreen Indian Actress JAYA PRADA has decided to charm once again in the Tamil Film Industry. After DASAVATHAARAM she decided to act as mother-in-law to DHANUSH in the film MAPPILLAI. The MAPPILLAI team conformed JAYA PRADA as mother-in-law after vast talks between the three evergreen actresses SRIDEVI, TABU and JAYA PRADA.

The movie is a remake of Tamil super hit of 1989 titled, MAPPILLAI, starring (SUPER STAR, Padma Bhushan) RAJINIKANTH – AMALA in lead roles and Late. SRIVIDYA did the powerful role of Mother-in-law character. Rajinikanth’s real life Mappillai (Son-in-law), Dhanush is now doing the remake of his Father-in-law’s runaway success ‘Mappillai’.

As for the Mappillai team’s concern, after PADDIKKATHAVAN’s victory, the same team again joins hands with the director SURAJ, Music by MANISARMA, Cinematography by A. VENKATESH, Comedy track by (Padma Shri) VIVEK, SAYAJI SHINDE as villain, Heroine as HANSIKA MODHVANI.
